Before the Legend...
The lastest timeline in the Star Wars universe takes place around 130-140 ABY, with the near-destruction of the New Jedi Order after the shocking revelations of Darth Caedus (formerly known as Jacen Solo) and the rise of a second Sith Empire, led by the horrifying Darth Krayt.
Legend of the Force takes a daring leap another 60 years into the future - into a completely unexplored region of Star Wars. The New Jedi Order is still around, the Sith Empire of Darth Krayt is gone (though we'll leave the details of how up to the creativity of Lucas Arts) and the galaxy is rebuilding itself.
This gives us a sandbox of endless possibilities. Almost every character in this game will be original. 60 years on from the Skywalker and Solo clans, whose to say which Jedi Master now heads up the order? Perhaps Ben Skywalker and Jaina Solo became the proud parents of another generation of the clan? Not to each other, obviously, but you know what I mean.
And what of the Sith? Who is holding the reigns of Krayt's demolished empire? What are their plans? Is the galaxy about to see another devastating Jedi-on-Sith war, or will the worshippers of the dark side relent for a time to regain their strengths?
Who is going to govern the worlds? Who will take it upon themselves to rebuild the senate? To rebuild civilization as it may've once been, so many years ago? The Galactic Remnant are the only glimpse of an ordered world from long ago, but their ranks are mostly military - perhaps they have a candidate... perhaps you'd like to play that candidate?
With a mirage of open seats and positions of power up for grabs, will the galaxy bring more turmoil in a battle for supremacy?
Welcome, my fellow Star Wars junkies, to 200 ABY.
